Police person scales Mt Everest
Kathmandu, 18 May. Senior Sub Inspector of Nepal Police, Purushottam Nepali, has scaled the Mt Everest successfully on Wednesday.
It is the first time a Nepal Police personnel reached atop the Everest. Nepali represented Nepal police and hoisted the national flag upon the summit.
He had embarked on mountaineering as part of the programme Nepal Police was holding on the occasion of 100th anniversary of INTERPOL. Nepal is the 100th member of INTERPOL.
